Chauffeur Service Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Bud’s Cab. These chauffeur service terms and conditions govern the use of our website and the booking of our premium transportation services in Bucharest and across Romania, including airport transfers, private rides, corporate travel and hourly chauffeur bookings.
By submitting a reservation request, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions, including the rules regarding payment, booking confirmation, amendments and cancellations.

Our Chauffeur Services
Bud’s Cab provides premium chauffeur and transportation services, including airport transfers, point-to-point transfers, corporate transportation, event logistics and hourly chauffeur disposal services.
However, all services remain subject to availability and operational acceptance.

Bookings and Confirmation
A booking request submitted through our website, email, WhatsApp or any other communication channel does not automatically constitute acceptance.
Specifically, a booking becomes confirmed only when:
- Bud’s Cab sends written confirmation, and
- the client completes any required payment or deposit, where applicable.
In addition, we reserve the right to decline a booking request if the requested service is unavailable or if the request contains incomplete or inaccurate information.
Sending a Reservation
To request a service, the client may use the online booking form or contact Bud’s Cab by phone, email or WhatsApp.
After submitting a request, the client must verify that all booking details are accurate. If any information is incorrect, the client should notify Bud’s Cab as soon as possible.
Once we receive the request, Bud’s Cab may send an acknowledgement email confirming receipt of the enquiry. However, this acknowledgement does not constitute booking confirmation.
A reservation becomes confirmed only after Bud’s Cab sends written confirmation and, where applicable, the client completes the required payment or deposit.
Following confirmation, the client will receive a booking confirmation or transport voucher. At that point, the client must review all details carefully and report any errors immediately.
Booking Changes
Clients may request changes to an existing reservation at any time, subject to availability and operational feasibility. For operational reasons, clients may initially communicate change requests by phone or WhatsApp. However, all amendments require written confirmation by email in order for our team to process and record them.
If we can accommodate the requested change, Bud’s Cab will issue an updated booking confirmation. On the other hand, if we cannot accommodate the change, Bud’s Cab will inform the client and the original reservation will remain valid unless the client cancels it in writing.
Furthermore, if a requested amendment results in additional costs — including but not limited to vehicle upgrade, route change, additional waiting time or extended service duration — the revised price will appear in the updated confirmation.
Child Passengers
If a child passenger will travel, the client must request a child seat in advance at the time of booking. In accordance with applicable legal requirements, child seats remain mandatory where the law requires them. Therefore, Bud’s Cab cannot guarantee availability of a child seat unless the client has confirmed the request in writing before the trip.
Prices and Payment
All prices appear in EUR, as stated at the time of booking. Unless otherwise stated, all quoted prices include VAT.
Bud’s Cab reserves the right to require full payment or a deposit before confirming a booking.
We accept the following payment methods: secure online card payment via Stripe and PayU, as well as any other payment method that Bud’s Cab expressly confirms in writing.
A booking becomes confirmed only after we successfully authorise or receive the required payment, where advance payment applies.
If a payment fails, gets interrupted, reversed, flagged for verification or does not complete successfully, Bud’s Cab reserves the right to suspend or cancel the booking until we properly receive the payment. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client remains responsible for any bank charges, currency conversion fees or transaction-related costs that the client’s bank or card issuer applies.
In addition, extra charges may apply for:
- waiting time beyond the included grace period;
- additional stops;
- route changes that the client requests;
- parking fees, tolls or access charges, where applicable;
- extraordinary cleaning or damage that passengers cause.
By completing the payment, the client confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
Depending on the service, we may require payment in advance, upon confirmation, or at another agreed stage of the booking process.
Customer Responsibilities
The customer must provide complete and accurate booking details, including:
- pickup date and time;
- pickup and drop-off addresses;
- flight number, where applicable;
- number of passengers;
- number and type of luggage;
- any special requirements.
As a result, Bud’s Cab does not accept responsibility for service issues that arise from incorrect or incomplete information that the customer provides.
Airport Pickups and Flight Monitoring
For airport pickups, we strongly encourage clients to provide the correct flight number at the time of booking.
When a client provides a valid flight number, Bud’s Cab may monitor the flight status and adjust the pickup timing based on the actual arrival information. However, if the client does not provide a flight number, the service will follow strictly the pickup time that the client entered.
For airport arrivals, the booking confirmation will state the exact pickup procedure and meeting point. Therefore, clients must check these instructions carefully before travel.
Waiting Time
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following grace periods apply:
- Airport pickups: up to 60 minutes of waiting time from the actual landing time
- Non-airport pickups: up to 15 minutes of waiting time from the confirmed pickup time
After the grace period, additional waiting time may incur charges at the applicable rate.
If we cannot reach the passenger, if the passenger does not appear within the applicable waiting time, or if the passenger fails to arrive at the agreed pickup point, Bud’s Cab may treat the booking as a no-show. In that case, the full fare may remain payable.
Consequently, clients must ensure that the phone number they provide in the booking is active and reachable at the time of pickup.
Cancellations and No-Show
Please read the cancellation terms carefully before booking.
Cancellation policy:
- Standard transfers: free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup
- Hourly services, event bookings or reserved chauffeur standby: free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup
- Late cancellations: cancellations submitted after the applicable free-cancellation period may result in a full or partial charge
- No-shows: non-refundable
Important: For multi-day chauffeur services, corporate events or complex transportation programs, Bud’s Cab may define specific cancellation terms in the booking confirmation or service agreement.
In addition, Bud’s Cab reserves the right to apply different cancellation conditions for special events, corporate agreements, peak dates or custom quotations. However, we will always communicate these conditions clearly to the client in advance.
Passenger Conduct
All passengers must behave in a respectful and lawful manner at all times during the journey.
Specifically, the following actions are not permitted:
- smoking or vaping inside the vehicle;
- consuming illegal substances;
- engaging in aggressive, abusive or unsafe behaviour;
- exceeding the booked passenger or luggage capacity.
If passenger conduct creates a safety, legal or operational risk, Bud’s Cab reserves the right to refuse or terminate the journey. In such cases, no refund will apply.
Luggage
Passengers must ensure that the selected vehicle category can accommodate the number of passengers and the volume of luggage.
In addition, passengers must disclose any oversized, bulky or special luggage before confirmation. Otherwise, Bud’s Cab reserves the right to refuse undeclared items that do not safely fit within the booked vehicle.
Furthermore, if the number of passengers or the volume of luggage exceeds the capacity of the booked vehicle, Bud’s Cab reserves the right to refuse transportation without refund or to provide an alternative vehicle at additional cost, subject to availability.
Delays, Route Changes and Force Majeure
All estimated journey times are indicative only. Traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, airport conditions, police controls, public events or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect actual travel times.
Therefore, Bud’s Cab does not accept liability for delays that these events cause. However, when a significant operational issue arises, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative solution.
Liability
Bud’s Cab exercises reasonable care and skill in providing its services.
To the maximum extent that the law permits, our liability for any direct loss arising from a booking is limited to the value of the service the client booked. This limitation does not apply where the law does not allow us to exclude liability.
Specifically, we do not accept liability for:
- indirect or consequential loss;
- missed flights, meetings or events that factors outside our reasonable control cause;
- personal items that passengers leave unattended in the vehicle.
As a result, we encourage clients to check the vehicle carefully before leaving and to report any forgotten items to us immediately.
Privacy and Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
To process payments securely, we use third-party payment providers, including Stripe and PayU. Bud’s Cab does not store full card details on its own servers. Instead, the relevant payment provider processes payment data in accordance with its own privacy and security standards.
By using our website or booking our services, you acknowledge that we may process certain personal data for the following purposes:
- handling bookings;
- customer communication;
- payment processing;
- operational dispatch;
- legal and administrative compliance.
Complaints
The client should submit any complaint relating to a booking or service in writing to office@budscab.com as soon as possible and preferably within 48 hours of the service date.
We will review every complaint in good faith and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The laws of Romania govern these Terms & Conditions.
Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or with services that Bud’s Cab provides falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
