A storage specialist may need two days in Bucharest; an investment team may stay for the week. At Romanian Energy Week, those different schedules matter. Plan the visit around the discussions each colleague needs to attend, then connect the airport, hotel, Parliament and separately arranged meetings in a transport brief that can change without losing track of the passengers.
Romanian Energy Week 2026: the confirmed essentials
The organiser announces Romanian Energy Week 2026 for 16–20 November at the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest, naming the Human Rights Hall as the event location. This is the November dialogue event, separate from September’s ENERGY EXPO exhibition.
The published format centres on a roundtable for 50 key participants, with total capacity described as 150 seats. Ask the organiser which participation package and days suit your visit; do not assume that an application secures a place. Transport arrangements are separate from admission.

Who should consider travelling from abroad?
The strongest fit is a team with a specific Romanian energy-market question: a developer assessing local partnerships, a storage supplier meeting project owners, or an investor coordinating discussions with advisers. A general interest in energy is less useful than a short list of people and topics that justify the journey.
The organiser’s 2025 retrospective reports participation from more than 20 countries. That is evidence of past international reach, not a confirmed guest list for 2026. Arrange meetings directly and obtain acceptance before building an itinerary around them.
Choose your days before booking the cars
The current programme assigns a different theme to each day. Use the outline below to decide when colleagues should arrive and depart, rather than assuming everyone needs five days of transport.

A Parliament destination needs an exact arrival instruction
The Palace of Parliament is a large complex. The building name is not enough to identify the correct vehicle approach, passenger drop-off or meeting point. Ask the event team to confirm the entrance, attendee documentation and recommended arrival procedure for your registration. Do not substitute tourist-visit instructions for event access.
Share the confirmed location with your chauffeur and allow time between leaving the vehicle and being seated. A chauffeur booking does not grant access to restricted areas or bypass venue procedures. If a meeting inside the building changes, agree where the passenger and vehicle will reconnect before the guest leaves the session.
Airport arrivals for a changing delegation
For OTP airport chauffeur transfers, list flight numbers, arrival dates, passenger names, luggage and the first destination. A colleague arriving for Wednesday’s storage discussions may need a Tuesday hotel transfer while the main team is already attending the event.
A shared flight does not always mean a shared onward journey. Someone carrying luggage to a hotel should not delay a colleague with a confirmed meeting elsewhere. Equally, colleagues travelling together to the same hotel may be better served by one suitable vehicle. Confirm the allocation rather than automatically booking a car per person.

Select the fleet around each journey

For a delegation using several vehicles, our event transport service can be scoped around passenger groups and different departure times. Separate a fixed transfer from a vehicle retained between appointments: they are different requirements and should be quoted accordingly.
Keep company meetings separate from the conference schedule
A visit to a local office, law firm or project partner is a separate appointment, even when everyone is in Bucharest for REW. Confirm the host, address, expected duration and who can approve a change. Never build the return journey around a meeting that has not been accepted.
Hourly chauffeur availability may suit several confirmed stops with uncertain finishing times. Fixed transfers may be sufficient for a hotel–venue–hotel day. If an energy project visit outside Bucharest is added, assess its distance and timing separately; it should not be treated as a quick detour between sessions.
For the hotel, specify the actual property and pickup entrance. Hotel guest transfers work best when the travelling group is ready at one agreed point, rather than spread between reception, breakfast and another entrance.

Yes, ask for the specific journeys or hours you need, subject to availability. Include the airport legs if arrival and departure fall on different dates.
Does the chauffeur quote include event access?
No. Confirm admission and any package inclusions with the organiser. The transport quotation concerns the agreed ground journeys.
