How to Web 2026 Bucharest: Transport for Investors and Teams

How to Web 2026 runs 6–8 October in Bucharest, with the main conference at Face Convention Center. Plan OTP arrivals, investor meetings and chauffeur transport.

Three colleagues can arrive at How to Web together and leave with three different plans: an investor dinner, a founder meeting and a flight home. For How to Web 2026 in Bucharest, transport planning starts with those individual commitments. Work out who needs to be where before booking the cars.

How to Web’s official website lists 6–8 October 2026 in Bucharest, with the main conference on 7–8 October. The organiser’s FAQ names Face Convention Center, Piața Presei Libere 3–5. Check the location attached to each individual invitation: an off-site meeting should never inherit the main conference address automatically.

Separate the Investors Summit from the main conference

The Investors Summit is listed for 6 October, with an afternoon programme and access tied to eligible ticket categories. That distinction matters for arrival planning. A guest attending the summit may need to reach Bucharest a day earlier than a colleague attending only the main conference.

Record three different kinds of commitments: sessions inside Face Convention Center, meetings at another address, and social invitations with a flexible finish. For each, identify the latest acceptable arrival and the person authorised to change the transport. This gives an assistant a usable schedule even when a networking conversation runs longer than expected.

Confirm the address behind every calendar invitation

A restaurant name, hotel brand or pin dropped into a group chat can be ambiguous. Add the full address and entrance instructions to the transport brief. If a meeting is still tentative, mark it as tentative; dispatch should not allocate a vehicle as though the stop has been confirmed. The organiser says detailed directions and parking information will be sent to registered attendees. Forward those instructions when they arrive so the chauffeur has the right entrance, not just the venue name.

Choose between an airport-to-hotel arrival and a direct conference transfer

For commercial flights, use the arrival date and flight number when arranging an OTP airport transfer. A hotel stop is often useful for luggage and preparation, particularly for guests arriving the evening before an investor meeting. Share any fixed appointment after landing so the proposed pickup can be assessed against the whole journey.

Going straight from OTP to Face Convention Center can make sense for an attendee with a suitable arrival window. It needs an explicit luggage plan, however. Conference admission does not confirm that a suitcase can be stored inside, and a transfer booking does not automatically keep the vehicle available for the rest of the day.

Ask whether the onward service includes waiting, another destination or a later collection. If the flight changes, send the updated itinerary to the booking contact. Avoid promising colleagues a meeting immediately after scheduled landing: airport formalities, baggage delivery and the drive still have to happen.

Build an investor’s day around the gaps between meetings

At a networking conference, the difficult part is often the transition between commitments. A meeting that ends at 16:00 and another that starts at 16:00 in a different building are incompatible, regardless of the vehicle selected. Protect time for leaving the room, meeting the chauffeur, driving and finding the next host.

Hourly chauffeur service is worth considering for an investor or executive with several confirmed stops. Book the period during which the vehicle must remain available and identify the expected finishing point. An extension can be requested, but availability and additional charges need confirmation.

For a founder spending the full day at the conference, separate outbound and return transfers may be sufficient. The useful distinction is the need for continued availability. Choosing a higher vehicle class does not, by itself, reserve more chauffeur time.

An illustrative three-day movement plan

  • 6 OctoberTransport decision: Hotel to Investors Summit, if attending. Detail to settle: Invitation, actual location and onward dinner.
  • 7 OctoberTransport decision: Main conference plus any external meetings. Detail to settle: Fixed transfers or a defined hourly period.
  • 8 OctoberTransport decision: Conference, hotel luggage collection, departure or evening programme. Detail to settle: Flight deadline versus optional activities.

This is a planning example, not an official agenda or a Bud’s Cab package. The organiser’s programme and your own invitations determine the actual journeys. Keep the flight departure as a fixed constraint when deciding whether to accept a final meeting.

Give a visiting team room to split up

A shared morning arrival does not mean everyone will leave together. One colleague may attend a founder meeting, another may host a client dinner, and a third may need the airport. Assign a return plan to each passenger before choosing how many vehicles to reserve.

For company visitors, corporate chauffeur coordination helps connect the conference with office visits and meetings. If several vehicles or guest groups are involved, use an event and delegation transport plan with one person maintaining the latest passenger allocation. A group chat can support communication, but it should not become several competing versions of the booking.

A Mercedes-Benz V-Class may suit colleagues travelling together; a business or executive sedan can suit an individual itinerary; an S-Class can be requested where rear-cabin comfort is a priority. Confirm luggage and availability before making the final assignment. Avoid moving an entire team just because one passenger’s appointment changes.

Coordinate hotel collections and private aviation separately

When guests stay at different properties, give each pickup its own entrance, passenger contact and ready time. Hotel guest transfers can include the journey to Face Convention Center and later collections for business dinners. Reception can help identify the entrance, while the passenger or nominated coordinator remains responsible for communicating changes.

For a private flight, request private aviation chauffeur coordination using the airport, terminal and handler instructions supplied for that movement. Băneasa BBU and Tiriac Air Terminal should not be treated as interchangeable meeting points. Any restricted-area access depends on the relevant authorisation; the agreed passenger handover point must be confirmed.

Brief the local operator before the calendar fills up

International chauffeur companies, travel agencies and assistants can submit the programme through Bud’s Cab’s B2B chauffeur partner service. Identify who approves extra time, who receives passenger updates and which journeys require separate billing references. These details are particularly useful when several investment firms share an event invitation but arrange their travel independently.

Your request should include travel dates, flights, hotel addresses, passenger and luggage numbers, desired vehicle categories, fixed appointment times and the stops that remain provisional. Ask for the quote to state the reserved period, waiting arrangements, VAT treatment, parking or other expenses, payment terms and cancellation conditions.
